Practice Updates
Here's what's new..
VIRTUAL VISITS
Many of our visits are still being done virtually and this is likely to continue for some time.
We are using a secure Zoom platform for our virtual visits. You will find your unique link in the Patient Gateway under Appointments & Visits. Here's how to prepare...
The day before your visit:
-
Download and install Zoom (either the App or on a computer via zoom.us/download)
-
Open your Patient Gateway using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari and find the Appointments & Visits heading
-
Find your appointment with Root and click on the E-Check in box and see if there are any surveys to complete – these are really important for your doctor to see during your visit!
-
Prepare any vital signs that you are able to do at home: you can take your pulse, check your weight, and take a blood pressure if you have a home cuff. For Well Child visits, please check a length/height as well
5 minutes before your visit:
-
Open your Patient Gateway using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari and find the Appointments & Visits heading
-
Find your appointment with Root and click on the Details box
-
Click on "Begin Virtual Visit" then please remain in your doctor's "waiting room" until the visit starts
IN-OFFICE VISITS
Patients over the age of 2 years old must wear a mask at all times inside the office, even if they are fully vaccinated. Masks must completely cover the nose and mouth and fit snugly against the sides of face without gaps. Masks with valves are not acceptable.
