Virtual Visits

  • We are successfully using Spruce, a HIPAA-compliant App, to conduct virtual visits - it has been going well so far!

  • You will receive a link to download Spruce prior to your visit and your doctor will video call you at your scheduled appointment time.

  • Please continue to call our office number 508-928-7668 or send a message via the Patient Gateway for any questions or concerns - do not call or message through the Spruce App.

  • Telehealth visits are charged to your insurance and you are not responsible for a copay.

  • We welcome virtual visits for any health questions or concerns related or unrelated to COVID-19.  

  • Routine visits such as physicals or well-child exams are currently being rescheduled - however, they can easily be converted into virtual visits if you have any specific issues you’d like to discuss or follow up at this time.

In-Office Needs

  • We are assessing the need to be seen in person on a case-by-case basis

  • We are NOT doing any testing for COVID-19 in our office. If you feel you need testing please call the office and we will assess if you qualify to be tested at Newton-Wellesley Hospital given the current shortage of available swabs and personal protective equipment.

  • We anticipate developing a system for childhood vaccinations which would otherwise be done at well-child visits. As your appointment approaches, we will reach out to you specifically regarding a plan for vaccinations.

Administrative Updates

  • For non-urgent questions (refills, to schedule an appointment etc) please call the office between 9am - 4pm Monday through Friday.

  • We currently only have two staff members so please be patient.  You need only to leave one voicemail or Gateway message for each question - we promise someone will follow up!
